Job Title Project Manager

Hartley People are looking to recruit a project manager for an exciting opportunity with a leading Irish contracting company.

The role:

  • Manage all site staff on all projects and ensure all staff are compliant with Health and Safety procedures.

  • Negotiate best prices for materials with suppliers and ensure quality checks are being implemented on site.

  • Develop site specific risk assessments and monitor during project.

  • Responsible for design of CRL roofing details and ensure works are carried out in accordance with drawings and specifications.

  • Ensure incurred installation labour costs, attendance and preliminary costs are in line with estimated costs.

  • Ensure relevant site events are recorded and reported to the Main Contractor quickly and contractually.

    The Person:

  • A construction related college degree or equivalent; construction science or engineering degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience.
  • Experience in the roofing/cladding sector in a project management role would be advantageous but not essential as full training will be provided. Must be able to read and interpret drawing specifications for roofing projects
  • Effective communication, supervision, and managerial skills
  • Must have a high level of computer skills including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Microsoft Project would be desirable.
  • Current Full clean drivers licence.
